Erected in memory of Hugh Hill, of Shannonstown who died 13th July 1905, aged 72 years. His daughter Elizabeth Jane, who died 12th August 1909. His son Samuel, who died in infancy. His wife Lizzie Hill, who died 22nd June 1917, aged 78 years. His son John, who died 21st January 1918. His son William, who died 31st December 1925. His son Hugh, who died 2nd August 1950. Also his daughter Margaret, who died 5th January 1951. And his daughter Mary Scott McWilliam, beloved mother of Ida Hamilton who died 23rd March 1962. Also the above-named Ida Hill Hamilton who died 5th March 2006. "I am ready to be offered "
