Erected by Thomas McAlister, Straid, in memory of his beloved wife Rebecca who died 10th March 1907, aged 82 years. Also the above- named Thomas McAlister who died 13th April 1921, in his 96th year. Also their son Alexander McAlister who died 12th June 1932 aged 81 years. And Mary Eliza, wife of the above Alexander McAlister who died 14th March 1936 aged 82 years. Also their daughter Sarah who died 15th April 1953 aged 74 years. "Till we meet again".
