Inscription
Erected in memory of Hugh Houston, Larne, who departed this life on 21st April 1849 aged 78 years. Also his daughter Margaret who died on the 21st May 1850 aged 37 years. His son William who died on the 22nd August 1837 aged 18 years. And two sons who died in infancy. Also his daughter Jane who died on the 12th Feb 1860 aged 43 years. Also Jane Huston, wife of the above Hugh Huston, who died 6th March 1865 aged 89 years. Headstone now fallen over.
