Inscription
Erected by Francis Tate in loving memory of his wife Margaret Tate who died 23rd May 1891 aged 67 years. Also her grand-child Maggie, daughter of Robert Tate, who died 5th November 1879 aged 5 months. The above-named Francis Tate who died 20th June 1900. "We loved her, yes, no tongue can tell, How deeply and how well. Christ loved her too and thought it best, to take her home with Him to rest."
