Erected to the memory of John Boyd, Straid, who died 28th Novr 1884 aged 83 years. Also his wife Mary who died 27th Decr 1882 aged 74 years. Also their son Andrew Boyd died 4th May 1920 aged 75 years. Also his wife Jenny Logan died 1st Nov 1909 aged 70 years. And their son John Boyd died 14th Nov 1893 aged 19 years. Mary Agnes Boyd died 6th June 1946. Her sister Martha Ross Boyd died 20th January 1955.
