Inscription
Erected by David Hill, Bridge End, in memory of his beloved sons, (viz) Robert who departed this life on the 21st of January 1854 aged 13 years & Alexander who died in infancy. Also his son Hugh who departed this life 14th September 1859 aged 24 years. Also the said David Hill who died on 5th December 1872 aged 70 years. Also his grand-daughter Agnes Hill, B.Boley, who died 23rd February 1873 aged 9 years. Also his daughter-in-law Mary Hill who died 29th Augt 1879 aged 44 years. Also her husband David Hill who died 27th Jany 1904 aged 65 years.
