Here lyeth the body of Hugh Whiteford who died March 1st 1780 aged 50 years. Also his son Willoughby who died April 17th 1788 aged 21 years. Also in memory of James Whiteford, M.Inst. C.E. died 25th Aug. 1904. Jane Wilson his wife died 3rd March 1900. Their children James Henry Price Whiteford died 18th Nov.1883, John Wilson Whiteford B.E. died 20th Aug. 1921, David Gray Whiteford died 11th July 1930, Mary M Whiteford died 15th Nov 1938.
